Our Mission

As experts in commercial drywall and plastering, Pinnacle Wall Systems is dedicated to upholding our reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, professionalism, and jobsite safety—consistently striving to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.

Vision

To be the contractor of choice in the local construction industry by combining dedication, experience, and a disciplined team driven by a lasting passion for delivering high-quality, timely, and successful projects.

Our History

In 2011, Jack and Brandon set out to establish their own company, driven by a vision to apply the industry’s best practices and raise the standard of excellence. Pinnacle Wall Systems officially launched in early 2012 and quickly surpassed its initial goals by a wide margin. This early success helped build strong relationships with insurance and bonding companies, financial institutions, material and tool suppliers, and many other valued partners. The greatest measure of our success, however, is the trust our general contracting partners place in us—demonstrated by their continued partnership and repeat business. We remain committed to constant improvement, always assessing where we are, what we do, and how we can do it even better.

More About Our Owners

  • Brandon Hager

Brandon has been immersed in construction his entire life. Coming from a family deeply rooted in the drywall industry—his father, grandfather, and several uncles were all union carpenters—construction has always been a part of who he is. From an early age, he gained hands-on experience helping his father on various projects. By the age of 16, he was framing houses during summer breaks, while working other jobs throughout the school year.

After graduating high school, Brandon attended Dunwoody College of Technology, where he earned his degree in 2002 while continuing to work in construction. Following graduation, he joined one of the Twin Cities’ largest drywall companies, where his father had also spent many years. There, Brandon quickly developed strong skills in estimating and project management—starting with smaller projects and soon advancing to large-scale commercial work.

Before co-founding Pinnacle Wall Systems, Brandon worked for several drywall companies, taking with him the best practices from each experience and leaving behind the less effective ones. Along the way, he built lasting relationships and gained valuable insight into every phase of the construction industry. Having experienced both the highs of busy seasons and the challenges of slow periods, Brandon has learned the importance of perseverance, adaptability, and continuous growth.

Outside of work, Brandon resides in Forest Lake, Minnesota, with his wife and three sons. He enjoys spending time at the family cabin in Siren, Wisconsin, and takes full advantage of the outdoors—whether it’s fishing, boating, snowmobiling, or simply enjoying time with family and friends.

  • Jack Mulcahy

Jack began his career in the commercial drywall and plaster industry in 1994 at just 17 years old. His early experience included scrapping out job sites, insulating, and hanging drywall—often in the tight, hard-to-reach spaces others couldn’t fit. As the son of a millwright, Jack’s passion for construction was sparked in his father’s garage, where he spent countless hours learning to weld, work with tools and machinery, and develop the kind of problem-solving grit that comes from fixing old cars and dealing with rusty bolts and skinned knuckles.

While attending the University of Minnesota, Jack continued to work summers in the field as a plasterer, tender, and laborer on demolition crews, as well as a carpenter. In 1998, his hard work and dedication earned him an opportunity to transition into management as an assistant project manager. Within two years, he advanced to estimator and project manager, taking on one of the largest projects in his company’s history—the Mayo Clinic Gonda Building in Rochester, Minnesota. Over the next four years, Jack managed more than $20 million in drywall and plaster work, gaining invaluable experience and helping expand operations throughout Southeast Minnesota.

Following the economic downturn in 2008, Jack and his future business partner, Brandon Hager, played key roles in launching a new commercial drywall company alongside former colleagues. By 2011, the two combined their knowledge, lessons learned, and shared drive for excellence to establish Pinnacle Wall Systems, officially launching the company in January 2012.

Through his journey from field worker to manager to business owner, Jack has built a leadership philosophy grounded in respect—for his team, his craft, and his clients. He believes in valuing the contributions of every employee and treating each customer’s project with the same care and commitment as his own business.

Outside of work, Jack enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters at their ranch in northern Minnesota. He’s an avid outdoorsman who loves hunting, fishing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and just about any activity that combines good company, fresh air, and a cold beverage.
